Tiger Woods Returns to Pro Golf

Tiger Woods announced that he will begin his 2010 season at the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club in April. The Masters is where he won his first major tournament. After his long break away from the game, Tiger is ready to start his first season at Augusta.

Recalling the turn of events for tiger:

Nov 27, 2009: Reports said that Woods has been injured in a car accident in a car accident near his Florida home after colliding with a fire hydrant and a tree. Gossip websites began speculating that the accident may be linked to reports, alleging an affair with nightclub hostess Rachel Uchiterl.

Nov 29: Woods’ lawyer releases statement on website admitting full blame for the incident.

Nov 30: Announces missing The Chevron World Challenge.

Dec 1: Issued with a traffic citation for careless driving and a 164 dollar fine.

Dec 2: Jaime Grubbs claims she had a two-and-a-half-year affair with Tiger.

Dec 8: Gatorade drops Woods.

Dec 11: Announces he’s taking an “indefinite break” from golf.

Dec 18: Tag Heuer downscales Woods’ image campaign.

Dec 31: AT&T end Woods Deal.

Feb 19: Tiger issues an apology for cheating on his wife.

Golf is about presence of mind and ultimate control. Tiger Woods has done a very good job in playing golf throughout his golfing career. The question is, can he still bag this tourney after the emotional and financial drops that have happened? Bookies have cut the odds on Tiger Woods not winning a Major this year after all the drama. He was at 5-4 but he’s now evens to miss out on one of the big four. Odds are 3-1 that he is to claim the US Open, 5-2 for The Open and the same for the USPGA. What do you think?
